On Saturday, April 9th, The Learning Experience at Lake Georgetown is hosting a fundraiser to help grant wishes for children through Make-A-Wish CSTX.
“We are excited to be able to help and be a part of granting a childβs wish that is battling critical illness,” the company told Hello Georgetown. “A non-profit organization, like Make-A-Wish, depends on organizations like ours to raise money to make a childβs wish possible. Each wish granted is life-changing for that child and their family. ‘A wish begins with hope.Β And hope begins with you.'”
The event is scheduled from 10 AM to 2 PM at 4816 Williams Drive in Georgetown, TX and will include:
- Silent Auctions
- Food Truck
- Craft Shops
- Scholastic Book Fair
- Snacks
- And More!
“For over 40 years, the Make-A-Wish has been granting life-changing wishes for children and families,” The Learning Experience at Lake Georgetown said. “A wish can be that spark that helps these children believe that anything is possible and gives them the strength to fight harder against their illnesses. By partnering with Make-A-Wish we provide our students and families with the opportunity to learn about inspiring hope, granting wishes, and using their creative minds to fundraise throughout the month of April for children battling critical illness.Β Our dynamic doggy duo, Grace and Charity says it best…’It doesnβt matter how big or small you are, itβs the size of your heart that matters.'”
