October 9, 2023 (Georgetown, Texas) – Wag Heaven Pet Supplies & Self-Serve Dog Wash, a local and beloved pet supplies store in Georgetown, Texas, known for its community outreach programs and events, is contending with the slowdown in the economy and the ongoing workforce shortage.
Both of its Georgetown locations, at 3010 Williams Drive, #115, next to Goodwill, and Downtown at 205 West 6th Street, #115, next to Lark and Owl, has changed hours to Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday, Noon to 5:00 pm.
“We are making some necessary adjustments, such as shorter hours, and bringing in a few new brands of recognized pet foods, like Dr. Marty, Honest Kitchen, and Canada’s Petcurean,” says Jeff Manley, co-owner of Wag Heaven. “We hope these additional options, along with our existing brands, exceptional customer service, and money-saving offers, will generate more support.”

We know that many people are on tighter budgets, so we are offering ways where they can spend less without compromising their pets & nutrition, continues Jusak Yang Bernhard, Wag Heaven’s other co-owner.

The nationally recognized and multi-award-winning pet store will continue its mission of community outreach as it partners with the Downtown Georgetown Association as host of the 4th Annual Pet Costume contest during DGA’s Boo Bash Trunk or Treat Celebration on the Square in Downtown Georgetown, October 29th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Entry fee donations are to benefit All Things Wild Rehabilitation and Pet Adoption by the Georgetown Animal Outreach.
Wag Heaven will also participate in DGA”s Second Saturday Market Days this month and in
November. District Manager Michael Moncrief, an accomplished chef, will be demonstrating how to make pet treats at the Wag Heaven booth at the Second Saturday markets.
