Embracing a New Chapter
2023 was a pivotal year for Hello Georgetown, with a change in ownership symbolizing a new beginning. When John Montgomery and Sydney Decker chose to hand over the reins, I embraced the opportunity to lead this platform, which has been an integral part of Georgetown since its founding in 2015.

A New Chapter: Georgetown’s Best Contest
A major highlight of this year was taking on the Georgetown’s Best Contest formerly the Best of Georgetown Contest run by the City of Georgetown. We added 12 new categories at the community’s request and witnessed an overwhelming response, with an increase in participation.
Your suggestions and opinions were invaluable, shaping the contest into a true reflection of our vibrant community. We look forward to growing this annual tradition even further in the coming years.
