This week, we recognize Michael Wayne who has been volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Williamson County for over 23 years and has helped build or repair over 330 homes in Georgetown, TX and throughout the county.
“Michael has been a significant presence with Habitat for Humanity Williamson County for over 23 years, accumulating over 10,000 hours with our organization,” Habitat for Humanity Williamson County told Hello Georgetown. “His efforts and expertise have directly applied to our home build projects, home repair program, homeownerβs selection committee, and educational classes for new homeowners. His leadership in home construction has resulted in providing houses for over ninety-one (91) families. Additionally, he and his team have provided much needed repairs to two hundred and forty (240) homes. Finally, his participation in our homeowner selection committee and his instruction in our home repair classes have truly made a positive impact on past and present homeowners and their families.”
