The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center is offering parenting classes beginning in late March.
“Circle of Security Parenting Classes are back with noon and evening sessions to fit your schedule,” the organization said. “Circle of Security Parenting Program is based on years of attachment research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. Classes emphasize the importance of parents forming secure attachments with their children by focusing on the caregiver and child interactions; being responsive to their child’s needs; and reflecting on their parental strengths and challenges. The series aims to help parents and caregivers share the best of themselves with their young children.”
The free 8-week series is limited to 12 participants per time slot and only one parent per class. The noon classes will be held in Georgetown, TX and the evening classes will be held at the organization’s temporary offices in Round Rock. Registration links can be found below:
