On Saturday, April 1, the Williamson County Master Gardeners will hold their 15th annual Native and Adaptive Plant Sale.
“Great news for all you plant-lovers,” the organization said. “We are happy to offer native and adapted perennials, grasses, vines, herbs, and succulents that are sourced and grown in this area.”
The sale will be held at the Georgetown Community Center located at 445 E Morrow St. in Georgetown, TX in San Gabriel Park, from 10 AM to 2 PM, or until plants sell out.
“These locally sourced plants do sell out fast so come early,” the organization said. “Not sure what kind of plants you should purchase? Master Gardener Wayne Rhoden will give a presentation about the plants and how to care for them starting at 9:00 AM, the 4-H Food Court will also be open at 9:00 AM. Grab a snack and come hear Wayneβs informational talk and be ready to buy your plants when the sale opens at 10:00 AM.”
Attendees are encouraged to come early for the best plant selection, and asked to bring their own cart or wagon to carry their plants. Learn more and see available plants at https://txmg.org/williamson/2023-plant-sale/.
