The winners of the Texas Society of Sculptors 13th summer sculpture have been announced!
βWe had a record turn out for votes, so thank you for stopping by and viewing the show,β the Georgetown Public Library wrote.
The winners include:
- Peopleβs Choice: And He Did Ride by Ronnie Wells
- Librariansβ Choice: Carolβs Bouquet by Ken Law
- First Prize: Rapunzelβs Tower Under the Full Moon by Valerie Chaussonet
- Second Prize: 1.618 by Evan Horne
- Third Prize: Pirateβs Woman by James R. Woodruff
- Honorable Mention: Ready for Takeoff by Dar Richardson
- Honorable Mention: Jave by Ken Law
- Honorable Mention: Laugh, You Jester. You Are Not Allowed to Cry. by Czes Sornat

The show in the Georgetown Public Library is available to view through September 17, 2021. The exhibit features 78 sculptures by 40 artists. The library with sponsorship from the City of Georgetown Arts and Culture Board is hosting the exhibit.
