About the Texas Bach Festival
The mission of the Texas Bach Festival (TBF) is to champion and advance the great and timeless music of Johann Sebastian Bach and subsequent composers inspired by him in the Georgetown and greater Central Texas areas.
And, by means of large and small scale performance, music education and outreach/collaborative events, to prolifically engage, inform and enrich citizens of all ages and the surrounding Arts community.
Bach’s sacred and secular compositions have been exponentially beloved worldwide by audiences and musicians for more than 300 years; it will be the ongoing privilege of TBF to passionately enrich the Georgetown / Austin / Central Texas cultural landscape with innovative programs and projects dedicated to “Bringing Bach to Life.”
