Georgetown, TX: Georgetown Independent School District (GISD) has announced that all campuses will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to expected freezing precipitation and unsafe travel conditions.
All extracurricular activities scheduled for Tuesday are also canceled. Because GISD has enough instructional minutes built into the calendar, this closure will not require a makeup day.
The district will provide any further updates by 6 p.m. on Tuesday if Wednesday’s schedule needs to be adjusted. Stay safe and warm, and enjoy your snow day!
