This time it’s Reader’s Digest! And they’ve named Georgetown in their list of 15 Best Places to Move in the US (Before they get too crowded.)
Looks like they’ve discovered what we all know about our lovely little Georgetown! They mention our thriving downtown, active community, green spaces, recreational opportunities, well-preserved Victorian and Pre-WW1 downtown historic districts and reasonable real estate prices.
But they advise their readers to hurry because “it’s only a matter of time before they get discovered (and overcrowded and overpriced).”
Guess when you build something wonderful, it’s hard to keep it a secret.
Here’s the link to the article with a beautiful image of our city and of course the other cities on the list of 15. https://www.rd.com/advice/travel/best-places-to-move-to-before-too-crowded/?trkid=soc-rd-twitter&fbclid=IwAR0lSKv9ABLNRYMzWRRQ7YMHuZEQO4Sn11YM8lA62TXEmnGy4WnrkcxgVnM
