Georgetown ReStore to Expand Following Round Rock ReStore Closure
The Habitat for Humanity Georgetown ReStore will be undergoing expansion efforts following the closure of the Round Rock ReStore.
“Despite easy access and visible location, the volume of shoppers and sales never met the organization’s expectations,” according to a press release from the organization. “Following the closure, HFHWC will continue to operate the Georgetown ReStore and will further develop its online store. HFHWC is exploring developing pop-up stores as well as mobile donation drop-off and sales sites.”
As a result Georgetown’s location will see some changes.
“The ReStore program will continue to be a part of Habitat for Humanity’s efforts in Williamson County with our Georgetown ReStore remaining open with a newly expanded sales floor,” Debbie Hoffman, Executive Director of HFHWC, said.
After February 27th, all individual ReStore donations must be dropped off at the Georgetown ReStore’s donation site located at 2110 Old Airport Road only on Saturdays, 9am – 3pm.
Corporate and retail donations will continue to be picked up by ReStore staff each week.
