One of the things we love about Georgetown is that there’s always something to do with friends! And Halloween 2017 is no exception. Here’s our working list of Halloween events in Georgetown for your perusal! And we’ve added a few October events at the end to round out our list.
Boo Run – Saturday October 28th. The 9th Annual Exceptional Georgetown Alliance Boo Run takes place this year in beautiful San Gabriel Park in the heart of Georgetown, Texas. Both the chip-timed 5K race and 1 mile family fun run meander along the scenic San Gabriel River.
Halloween Party at A Shot of Texas Ranch – Saturday October 28th. Don your scariest costume and come have fun at the Halloween Party at A Shot of Texas Ranch! Festivities include live music, a costume contest, games, a photo booth, food and drinks!
Boo Bash – Sunday October 29th. Boo Bash on the Georgetown Square! It’s time to bring your little witches and goblins to Downtown Georgetown for some trick or treating this Halloween!
Pumpkin Patch at First United Methodist Church – The patch opens for sales on October 12 and is open daily from 9:30 am -7pm until October 31. Movie Night is October 21 from 7 – 9pm. Trunk or Treat is October 31 from 4:30 – 6pm.
Downtown Georgetown Ghost Tours – Fridays and Saturdays October 13, 14, 27 & 28. Ready for some scary Halloween fun? You won’t want to miss the Downtown Georgetown Ghost Tours!!! Hosted by the Williamson Museum ; featuring true stores of haunted historic buildings on the Georgetown Square and strange occurrences that really happen here!!!
Georgetown Halloween Festival – Thursday October 26th. Join the fun with activities like the Trick-Or-Treat Village, Hayride, Costume Contest, Pumpkin Painting & Carnival. Everybody is sure to have a spooky, memorable time!
Nightmare on Jail Hill Haunted House – Fridays and Saturdays October 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2017. Check out this short video thanks to our friend Rudy Ximenez at RSX Photography!!!
Gather your friends and get on over to Nightmare on Jail Hill Haunted House. Featured on Ghost Hunters TV show and rumored to be haunted, this is the frightening place for some Halloween fun this year!!!
Boo Bash at Wolf Ranch Town Center – Saturday October 28th – Bring the kiddos and come to Wolf Ranch for fun and games! Featuring: Daniel Tiger out for a Meet and Greet & The Fantastic Kent Cummins The Magician. There will also be a sensory friendly meet and greet from 4pm to 5pm.
Adult Costume Construction Party & Movie at the Library – Wednesday October 25th – They’ll have supplies and suggestions for you to make your own DYI Costume for Halloween. But you must be at least 18 to participate. Plus watch “What We Do In The Shadows” – A documentary team films the lives of a group of vampires for a few months…
Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Fest – Weekends from September 30 through November. We will have our usual farm activities: pony rides, petting zoo, hay maze, bouncy pad, face painting and obstacle course. The Fall Festival will include a large pumpkin patch, many Fall photo opportunities, hay rides, live music, local food truck and adult beverages.
St. Helen Fall Festival – Saturday and Sunday October 14th and 15th. Enjoy all the delights of the season at the Fall Festival at St. Helen Catholic Church! Come ready for tons of fun; including crafts and Country Store, live and silent auctions, music, kids train ride, international food court, basket raffle, games, cake walk and much more!
Georgetown Harvest Fest – Saturday October 7th. Bring the whole family and come enjoy the festivities including Turkey Dinner, Auctions, Swedish Bake Sale, Kids Activities, Crafts and more! Hosted by St. John’s United Methodist Church.
Clayman Rodeo – Saturday October 7th. Attention Rodeo Fans! Bring the whole family and enjoy Team Roping, Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, Calf Roping, Clowns, freebies and a full concession stand.
