Our gymnastics-based camps are a great way for students to have fun, stay active, build self-confidence, and meet new friends during school holidays. Camps run from 9 AM to 2 PM, and are offered to students aged 4 to 14. Activities include foam pits, trampolines, games, and open gym time. Students should wear comfortable clothes, bring a sack lunch, extra snack and water bottle. Space is limited, so book your camps today!

Anytime camp sessions are good for any Summer or School Holiday camps. They do not expire. Anytime sessions can be shared with siblings.
Please note: Camp is non-refundable. Therefore, prior to purchasing bulk or weekly sessions, we suggest purchasing one session to ensure your child loves it. We feel confident he or she will.

🏹Camp Brightwell
Day Camp at YMCA of Central Texas is so much more than your typical, ordinary Day Camp. Our Day Campers spend their week outdoors participating in a wide range of exciting camp activities that are focused on helping them develop confidence, improve their social skills, and learn new skills. Parents can trust that our Day Camp Staff have a camper first mindset and are dedicated to providing the best Day Camp experience possible.

Spend Spring Break with Camp Goodwater! We offer a wide variety of both traditional and modern camp activities such as team sports, group games, crafts, board and card games, swimming, field trips (venue TBD), special events and programs, and so much more! Curriculum is designed for elementary-aged children.

Applications for the Spring Citizen’s Police Academy are now open. All applications MUST be picked up and dropped off in person at 3500 D.B. Wood Road in Georgetown at the Georgetown Police Department reception window. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 27th at 5pm. The Spring classes will begin on March 5, 2026, and end on May 14, 2026. Class sizes are limited, and all applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
You can print it out, complete the application at home, but it must be submitted in person (no emails accepted).
The Citizen’s Police Academy is a ten-week course designed to educate the public about police protocols and procedures and to further an understanding of how your Georgetown Police Department works to serve the community.
Classes are taught by officers from various departments of the PD and provide citizens with an up-close look at the inner workings of your Police Department. Classes include topics such as Code of Criminal Procedure, Accident Investigation, Use of Force, Crime Scene Investigation, Hostage Negotiations, SWAT, and Victim Services.
Classes are held on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm in the training rooms of the Public Safety Operations and Training Center (PSOTC), 3500 D.B. Wood Road, Georgetown.

Friday | March 20 | 10 a.m. to noon: ESteam Lego Fun day. Free build with Legos.
Friday | March 20 | 1 p.m.: Tweens (ages 9-12) ESteam Lego Fun Day. Ticketed event. Tickets available at kid’s desk one hour before event begins.
This high-energy, skill-focused camp is designed to help athletes of all levels develop fundamental and advanced techniques in a fun, structured environment. Each day will feature skill-building drills, instructional coaching, competitions, and games to keep athletes engaged and improving.

Hitting Fundamentals: Proper stance, swing mechanics, bat speed, and power
Fielding & Defensive Skills: Footwork, glove work, throwing accuracy, and reaction time
Base Running & Speed Training: Agility drills, stealing techniques, and explosive movement

Join us on the courts at the Georgetown Tennis Center for a fun week of tennis! Lead by Head Tennis Pro Pete Polkinghorn, Spring Break Tennis Camp will consist of stroke instruction, footwork drills, court games, and match play. Mid-morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. Please send your child with a sack lunch, a water bottle, and sunscreen.

Participants will receive specialized coaching in sprinting, jumping, and throwing techniques. Our program encourages athletes to set and achieve individual goals, building both physical and mental strength.
