Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (hours flexible based on customer need)
Days: Monday – Friday
ABOUT THE POSITION
Do you enjoy troubleshooting and solving difficult problems? Rebuilding things so they are better than they were when originally built? We’re looking for apprentice and journeyman level carpenters. A strong set of multiple trade experience is preferred, but qualities of remarkable integrity, excellent customer service, attention to detail, and pride in a job well done are even more important. Work is available immediately for the right persons.
REQUIREMENTS
- Able to demonstrate experience in home improvement in several of the following areas: carpentry, siding, painting, drywall, bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, cabinets, minor roofing and floor installation and repair, basic plumbing and electrical, ceiling fans, light fixtures. Not all skills are required, but the more the better!
- Willingness to take direction and learn from constructive criticism with a positive attitude, as well as a desire to learn new skills
- Ability to communicate with the owner and customer as often as required
- Demonstrate an understanding of how managing costs affects profitability, but not at the risk of customer satisfaction
- Have a minimum of two professional references
- Be able to pass criminal background check and drug test
- Valid driver’s license, dependable vehicle and proof of insurance
- Must own basic carpentry tools
- Must have cell phone, access to read and print email, access to use or print and Google maps or other digital map service
- Capable of uploading and sending photos via email or text with a digital camera, cell phone or other digital device
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
