Job Description
The Leasing Specialist II will work directly with the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager, Operations Director, tenants and others to manage the buildingβs maintenance and occupancy. Working independently, this role requires the Leasing Specialist II to interact with prospects to schedule and view properties and onsite amenities, review terms and conditions of lease agreements, and answer inquiries about the area. The Leasing Specialist II ensures property maintenance and repairs are completed timely and satisfactorily.
Job Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent customer service, must be customer service-orientated
- Able to effectively manage your own time to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner with little supervision
- High attention to detail and overall organization skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and residents in
- English and Spanish, both written and verbal
- Must possess strong math and writing skills, Proficient in documenting situations with tenants
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business
- Must be computer proficient with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with Appfolio and Bluemoon software preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years experience in marketing and/or leasing in a multi-family property role
