Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County is partnering with 15 local breweries and establishments on a Hops for Houses Passport program. For a $25 donation, individuals will receive a Passport valid for one free beer at each participating location. All proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County and will be utilized directly on house builds.
“Last February we held the first Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival with 25 breweries and raised over $20,000 towards the House That Beer Built – a campaign to raise funds to build a Habitat home for a local family in need. With the pandemic and the uncertainties related to large in person events and festivals, we made the decision to not host the festival this coming February and instead shifted our collaboration with the local craft beer community to launch the Hops for Houses Passport program, says Habitat Resource Development Director Nicole Vommaro.
Habitat for Humanity is planning to bring back the Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival in February 2022 and says they are excited and grateful for the continued support from the local craft brewing community.
The passports are available online now at https://williamsonhabitat.org/hops-for-houses-passport-2021. Passports are valid at the 15 partnering locations from January 2021 – April 30, 2021. Additional details and a full list of the Passport locations can be found on the website. For more information and questions, contact email@example.com.
