Bucketeers in open in Georgetown, TX!
The business originally started in the Bay Area by drummer and teacher Andy Ziker, the drumming instruction program has now expanded to Georgetown, TX and the local area will be serviced by Marissa Ortega, a Georgetown native who currently teaches at Cantera Montessori School of Silicon Valley (Georgetown) and also works as a private piano instructor/performer.
βAn opportunity presented itself for me to partner with Andy and start Bucketeers here in Texas.β Marissa Ortega said. βWhile overcoming long-distance challenges, we managed to pull through and become a great teamβ¦βThe program allows me to share a passion and love of music Iβve held since the age of our drummers. Iβve enjoyed spreading this new, fun concept of music education to young children.β
Bucketeers is an innovative teaching method that uses color-coded five-gallon buckets as drums bundled with sticks to help keep the volume down.
βBenefits include a foundation in music, team building, using a steady pulse, playing rhythmic patterns, hand-eye coordination, and much more.β Andy Ziker said.
