D & L Printing is under new ownership!
Now owned and operated by John Montgomery, this company is the second printing business that he owns in Georgetown. He purchased the business, as well as the building and land.
“I’m looking forward to both of my print shops working together to offer more services,” John Montgomery, owner and operator of Robert’s Printing Company, told Hello Georgetown. “I am also looking forward to meeting the customers at D & L Printing. At Roberts I have a great relationship with my customers, many who have become pretty good friends.”
D & L Printing will be operated separately from Montgomery’s other business, Roberts Printing. Montgomery has owned Robert’s Printing, 2018 Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, since 2004.
“I have met all of the employees and they are all great,” Montgomery said. “They seem really excited about the change in leadership and some of the changes I will be making to help operations run more smoothly. But, I guarantee they are not half as excited to work with me as I am to work with them. They have a great system there and with some innovation, it will be amazing.”
The company originally opened in 1985 in a 1,250 square foot warehouse and a AM 1250 offset press and paper plate maker. Since then, D & L Printing has evolved and grown to include a print shop, a forms company and a spiral binding company, and now operate in a 5,000 square foot building located at 552 Co Rd 151 in Georgetown, TX.
