GTX Soapshop Open in Georgetown!

2/23/2021 – GTX Soapshop is open in Georgetown!

The company was started by Tara Smith and John Larkin, owners and artisan soapmakers, who told Hello Georgetown they wanted to create a soap that was more moisturizing with less chemicals, especially as hand washing has increased during the ongoing pandemic.

“Our goats milk artisan soap is handmade in the heart of Georgetown, ” Smith told Hello Georgetown.

Smith said the company also plans to host and teach bath bomb and soap classes in the future. They also offer in shop shopping by appointment, curb side pick up, and shipping within the United States.
