2/4/20 Update – The new parking lot across from the Library is looking almost ready! They have paved it and some of it has been striped. There’s a map below if you need it.

12/21/19 – We went by the location of the new downtown parking lot located across from the Library, between 7th and 8th Streets.
They have left the trees and created curbs around one end of the huge lot and there’s an open lot area on the other end. There are also several parking spaces being created for “nose end” parking on 7th street.

November 2nd, 2019 – We see some progressive looking activity on the new parking lot the city is working on downtown. Maybe it will be ready for the Lighting of the Square later this month.

August 4th, 2019 – There’s been some cleanup going on at the location of the new downtown Parking Lot. It may not be as exciting as a new restaurant, but we can all agree it’s a welcome addition to downtown.

July 10, 2019 – If you’ve been downtown lately, you may have noticed the demolition of some buildings along Forest between 7th and 8th Streets. The project is located catty corner of the Library. Map below.
This is the location of the new parking lot that will offer 76 additional parking spaces to the downtown area.
We went by and got some shots of the massive demolition going on right now.
