Saturday April 13th, 2019 – It’s the 15th Annual Red Poppy Bike Ride! This popular, family friendly ride offers participants 5 routes ranging from 12 to 100 miles.
Enjoy a spring bike ride on beautiful country roads though picturesque Williamson County. All routes of approximately 12 (Family Circle), 29, 40, 62, and 100 miles..
This year is the 15th annual Red Poppy Charity Bike Ride is sponsored by Rentsch Brewery, Georgetown SERTOMA Club, Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, Sun City Cyclists, and the Georgetown Cyclopaths.
After the ride, participants are encouraged to hang out at the brewery to enjoy live music, food trucks and games with family and friends.

Packet Pickup – 6:30am
Ride starts at 8am, with no riders leaving after 9am
Course closes at 4pm
All routes pedal through moderately flat terrain interspersed with rolling hills on the eastern side of Williamson County.

To guarantee a t-shirt you must register by 5pm on March 24th.
Riders must obey all traffic laws. Helmets must be worn.
Rest Stops/SAG Vehicles – Rest stops will be available throughout the ride. Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles will be patrolling the routes to help with mechanical troubles and to pick up riders with any problems. Please be prepared to handle your own flats and minor problems.
It is preferred that you bring the printed ticket, but not required. There are no refunds. The event will be held, rain or shine.
