The Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown is working with the Georgetown ISD and Georgetown ISD Educational Foundation to use the proceeds from the “One in the Hole “event to financially assist all GISD programs. The money will be used to fund Teacher Grants, Scholarships, Special Programs, and so forth. This is the second year of this event. Last year The Kiwanis Club of Sun City Georgetown donated over $70,000 to Georgetown ISD programs and students. Help us raise more money this year by playing One in the Hole!
*The Kiwanis Literacy Program occurs twice a year. Members of Kiwanis visit and read to Pre-K through 2nd grade students in Title I schools as well as those attending local Head Start Programs. Each student receives his own copy of that book to take home. Annually, the program distributes over 5,000 books and over the years, Kiwanis has handed out over 55,000 books in all. Thank you
