2023 Season Update: The Williams Drive Pool will open for the season on May 27th, 2023.

Hours: Open daily except Mondays from 1 PM to 7 PM (Open Memorial Day and Labor Day). The pool will be OPEN the following holiday dates:

About: The Williams Drive Pool is the largest City of Georgetown pool. It has a length of 50 meters and can be divided into 8 lanes. The pool is 4 ft. deep overall, with a 12 ft. deep diving well.

About: The Village Pool is located in the Georgetown Village subdivision. There is a main pool, 4 β 5 ft. deep, and a smaller baby pool, 6 in. β 1 ft. 6 in. deep.

2023 Season Update: The Recreation Center Indoor Pool is open year round.
The Recreation Center Indoor Pool will be closed June 10, June 17 and July 1 for swim meets from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

About: The Indoor Pool at the Georgetown Recreation Center is available for year-round use with facility membership or the purchase of a Daily Visit. Completion of a waiver is required for facility use.
The Indoor Pool is 25 yards wide, with 8 six-feet-deep lap lanes, a transition lane that slopes sideways from three to six feet, and a three-feet shallow end with areas designed for swim lessons and relaxing.
Both the menβs and womenβs locker rooms have doors to the pool deck. There are also two family changing rooms. There are two rinse-off showers on the pool deck as well. An ADA accessible hydraulic chair lift is available.

Address: Right in the heart of town, just 5 blocks north of the Georgetown Square and to the east of IH 35. The entrance to Blue Hole Park is at W. Second Street and Rock Street.
About: As one of the gems of this area it offers both beauty and easy access for swimming, picnicking and fun in the sun! Bring the little ones, there are places to wade, ducks to feed and lots of space to run and play.

About: Flowing through beautiful San Gabriel Park the dammed river is a peaceful area for swimming. You can hear the sound of the water spilling over the dam and enjoy the shade created by the tall cottonwood and pecan trees. The kids will love swimming with the ducks and fish. Be aware that there are no lifeguards on duty. The park offers a beautiful picnic area with tables, grass and lots of shade for relaxing or fun and games.
Summer Pool Passes
Seasonal swim passes are valid at outdoor pools from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Passes are sold at the Georgetown Recreation Center.

Splash Pads

About: Located at Rabbit Hill Park, other amenities include Playscape, Picnic area and restrooms

2023 Season Update: The splash pad at Garey Park is open daily during park hours from April 1 through Oct. 31, weather permitting. The splash pad closes 30 minutes prior to park closing.

About: Located in Garey Park, entrance fees apply. This is a really beautiful area with lots of other amenities for children.

Hours: Open daily April 1 through September 30 from 9 AM to 8 PM.
About: The Downtown Splash Pad is a beautiful brick courtyard with water jets erupting from the ground! Unstaffed and free to the public.
Address: In the San Jose Park – 1707 San Jose Street
Hours: Open daily, April 1 through Sept. 30 | 9 AM – 8 PM
About: The 1,656 square-foot water play area has 15 spray features, including a spray archway called a Super Soaker, a shower tunnel that sprays water in an archway from the ground, a T-shaped pole that spins and sprays called a Storm Spinner, popcorn jets that shoot water from the ground, and a post that sprays water in a bell shape. The play area has a shade awning on one side.
The splash pad will use recirculated water that is filtered, chlorinated, and stored in a tank below the surface. Parks staff will check chlorine levels daily. A motion sensor activates the spray features to run for several minutes before turning off automatically.

512 Swim Co. was founded in 2022 by bringing our love and respect of the water together with our passion of working with children! Being nestled in a geographic location near lakes, rivers and backyard swimming pools, we are excited to bring Survival Swim awareness and education to the greater Austin area! We specialize in Infant and Toddler Survival Swim Lessons and provide Adaptive Aquatic Swim Lessons for children with Autism (ASD) and other sensory disorders. Private Survival Swimming Lessons
Our Swim Float Surviveβ program is a unique style of swimming lessons offered to children 6 months β 4 years in an effort to teach them the skills necessary to be safe in and around water. Learn more about our Survival Swim program here.
Private Stroke Development Lessons (return students only)
Our Stroke Development lessons are designed to continue your childβs aquatic learning process using techniques that are an extension of the swimming and floating skills previously learned, during our Survival Swimming lessons. Learn more about our Stroke Development Lessons here.
Private Adaptive Aquatics Lessons
Swim Float Surviveβ strongly focuses on water safety and survival, and we believe that every child should have the opportunity to benefit from these fundamental skills and enjoy water in a safe and comfortable environment, including children with sensory processing disorders like ASD. Our Adaptive Aquatics program can be tailored to individual needs and abilities to meet specific challenges. Group Swim Lessons β The City of Georgetown is offering several group lessons for adults, children and Parent/Child.
2023 Season Update:
- Spring (April – May) swim lessons at the Georgetown Recreation Center will be available for registration on Feb. 1 for both residents and nonresidents.
- Summer (June – August) pool passes and swim lessons at the Georgetown Recreation Center, River Ridge Pool and Village Pool will be available for registration on May 1 at 8 AM for residents and May 2 at 8 AM for nonresidents.
- Fall/Winter (September – March) swim lessons will be available for registration on Aug. 1 for both residents and nonresidents.

Water Aerobics β Fun and exciting 45 to 60 minute routines that will give you a workout. Though all equipment is provided, participants are welcome to bring their own. Water shoes are encouraged for shallow water classes. Please bring a towel and water bottle to every class. Providing a fun summer swim team experience in central Texas since 1985. Our experienced coaching staff teaches swimming technique, while maintaining a fun, laid-back, summer attitude.
USMS is a national membership-operated nonprofit organization that provides membership benefits to nearly 65,000 Masters swimmers across the country. These benefits include insurance, SWIMMER magazine, sanctioned events, and many others.
A US Masters swim team for adults over 18 years of age located in Central Texas. Offering coached practices that are tailored to your ability and goals. You will learn a variety of drills, work on all your strokes, and improve fitness.
A year-round competitive swim team that provides high quality professional coaching and technique for all ages and abilities.

Please Note: A submitted facility rental request form does not guarantee approval of the request. Requests are approved based on availability and are processed in the order they are received.
Rentals at outdoor pools are only available during the summer season (June-mid August).
