The Caring Place Closes Due to Weather, Cancels Outdoor Programs

Texas winter weather is at it again!

In order to keep staff, customers and volunteers safe, The Caring Place is closing all locations today, Thursday, February 11th as of 10:30 a.m. (Friday hours have no change at this time.)

If inclement weather poses concerns to their operating hours in their stores or Programs and Services in the next several days, they will announce additional updates on Facebook or on the red notification bar at the top of their website.

Additionally, in response to upcoming extreme cold weather forecasts, The Caring Place is canceling Donation hours and Fresh Food for Families on Monday, February 15th.

While the Donation hours and Fresh Food for Families programs are canceled on Monday, February 15th, all other indoor activities will continue, barring any additional inclement weather announcements.

Monday Hours:

• The Shops at The Caring Place will be open 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Programs and Services will be open and operating by phone 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Caring Place requests that the community follow it on Facebook @thecaringplace for the latest information or program changes at the organization.

Changes in operating hours due to inclement weather can also be found in the red notification bar at the top of The Caring Place website at caringplacetx.org.
