Just like that and we’re halfway through July!
As I mentioned in last week’s newsletter, Back-to-School season will be here before we know it. Students and teachers are already preparing, including Paideia Classical School which is opening this fall and will host an open house on July 21. You can learn more about the upcoming open house in this week’s newsletter below.
Let’s also give a big hello to our newest Business Directory members: The Golden Rule, Charles Schwab and The City of Georgetown. You can read about each of these organizations and businesses in their individual business directory listings.
In business news this week, Lucy’s Vintage Treasure is officially open in Georgetown, as well as BeYOUtiful Addiction. You can find both of these businesses on the Downtown Georgetown Square, and learn more in the articles in this week’s newsletter.
This week we also have some heartwarming stories including a feature on local therapy dogs who are bringing comfort to communities, including most recently those who are grieving in Uvalde. Also, check out our story on how the Georgetown Poker community has come together to support a friend and fellow poker player battling cancer.
