Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter Teams Up With Local Pet Supply Store For Pet Care
As we approach the end of the holiday season, things are tighter – our schedules, our belts, and our wallets. Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) and Wag Heaven Pet Supplies and Self-Serve Dog Wash, a local pet food and supplies store, are proud to team up once again to give back to our animal-loving community by hosting another free drive-thru pet food bank.
Local residents in need of help feeding their pets should visit the Wag Heaven store in downtown Georgetown, located at 205 W 6th Street, Sunday, January 3, 2021, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Wag Heaven will be giving out free dog and cat food on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. This is a low-contact drive-thru event. With this event, the shelter’s goal is to help families enjoy their holiday season, knowing that their pets are well-fed, safe, and comfortable.
Residents should enter the Wag Heaven driveway from the entrance on 6th Street. Vehicles will exit at Rock Street.
On January 9, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wag Heaven and Jarrell Animal Hospital will conduct a low-cost walk-in vaccination clinic at the same Wag Heaven store in downtown Georgetown, to benefit the animals at WCRAS. Pets will receive vaccinations for just $15 per shot, $2 of which will be donated to the shelter, while supplies last.
