Always wanted to write a book? Now you can learn how from multi-published, award-winning Georgetown author D. A. Featherling. The author of more than twenty books, Featherling covers a multitude of information in her writing classes.
She offers topics on a variety of writing-related subjects and sometimes team teaches with other local authors.
Featherling has penned stories for adults, pre-teens, and young adults in both fiction and non-fiction in multiple genres. She has written mysteries, romantic comedies, time travel/sci fi, end times, and several non-fiction books including one about a true crime, cold-case murder that took place in Georgetown in 1930.
She has also produced and sells a board game which serves as the inspiration for the time travel/sci fi series. In addition, she has co-produced a music CD containing two original songs related to the true crime book, also available for sale.
During her previous careers, Featherling worked for several different State of Texas agencies, and was the administrator for a physics research center at UT-Austin. She has also owned and operated a home staging business in Central Texas.
Now retired, Featherling lives in Georgetown, Texas where she writes full time and gives talks and teaches writing classes on various topics.
