Hello Georgetown!
I am super excited to introduce you to our brand new website! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a fresh look, new content and new opportunities at Hello Georgetown!
Let me give you a quick tour through some of our new website features:
Guides: Since it’s beginning, Hello Georgetown has been a trusted source for events and community guides. Whether you’re looking for a great summer camp, a local business to help you, a new place or eat or any other questions you may have, we likely have a guide for it.
In our new website, you can find all of our guides in one central location on the menu under “Guides”
Business Directory: Hello Georgetown has provided a business directory for quite some time, but we have a few changes and upgrades we’ve made to the directory recently.
Our directory is categorized by letter and once you find the category you need, we have all of the businesses listed in our Ethical Business Directory right there!
You can access our Business Directory in the menu under “Business Directory,” and even submit your own listing if you’re not in the directory already!
Events: I’m not saying I have a favorite part of the website, but if I did – this would be it! One of our goals with this new website was to make it easier for our readers to see all the events coming up rather than searching through articles to find the event they were looking for.
Under “Events” on the menu, you can now see all the events we have been made aware of by month. Just select the month you want to explore on the left side of the Events page and then scroll through all the upcoming events!
This section is updated all the time, so check back often!
Jobs: The past several weeks especially, we’ve been seeing a boost in job listings in Georgetown. At Hello Georgetown, we wanted to give you a central location to find job listings in our community.
Under “Job” on the menu, you can explore openings at local companies all over Georgetown!
If you’re interested in posting a job listing, please email havingfun@hellogeorgetown.com
We hope you enjoy our new website and some of the new features we are offering! In this week’s newsletter. Huntington Learning Center has some great information on helping your student close any skills gaps before the school year comes to an end, and we have information on an upcoming wine class you’ll want to put in your calendar. Plus, calling all brides and grooms to be! The Georgetown Bridal Show is happening this weekend! Details are below.
Also be sure to check out our new Business Directory members including Central Texas Mini Golf and GTX Soapshop! Their full listings can be found in this week’s newsletter.
We have plenty of other new updates including several businesses who have opened or are coming to Georgetown, our updated and working Summer Camp Guide, tips from a local physical therapist on how to stay fit at any age and more!
Thank you for making Hello Georgetown your source for community news and events, and remember – Hello Georgetown exists for YOU. If you are a business owner, how can we promote you? Email havingfun@hellogeorgetown.com or call the office at 512-843-6090.
