Hello Georgetown!
Itโs hard to believe September is right around the corner, and with it Labor Day weekend!
While August isnโt quite over yet, weโve released our latest guide for events and activities happening Labor Day weekend to help you plan ahead. Thereโs plenty of live music to enjoy, plus an special shopping event happening in downtown! This is a working guide, so if weโve missed any events you know of, please email hello@hellogeorgetown.com with details so we can include it.
Additionally, the City of Georgetown will have several facilities closed on Labor Day, weโve got the full list, plus the latest pool schedule and more for that day.
With September comes fall and Wolf Ranch Town Center is saying goodbye to summer with a Beat the Heat: Bubble Bash event on Friday, September 17. Also coming up on that day is a blood drive at the Georgetown Recreation Center.

The Williamson County AgriLife Extension Office will offer in person Private Pesticide Applicator Training to assist those interested in obtaining their TDA license. Producers or landowners who apply restricted-use pesticides to their properties must be trained and licensed to do so.
Exceptional Georgetown Alliance Announces Details for 2021 Boo Run 5K
โCall all runners/walkers,โ the organization wrote on Facebook. โBoo Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 30th in San Gabriel Park! We are looking for runners, walkers, and teams of 4 or more to receive a discount.โ
City of Georgetown Labor Day Closings
City of Georgetown offices and facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, for the Labor Day holiday.
