March has arrived and with it, plenty of exciting updates and upcoming community events. Get your calendar ready!
This week, East View High School Theatre is performing “The Grand Illusion Show” – all three performances will take place on March 4. Find out how you can get tickets and attend in this week’s newsletter. Also, speaking of theater, we have a great feature on an upcoming production of Guys and Dolls by a cast of 46 actors and actresses from Sun City! Read their story and learn about the upcoming show below.
While you’ve got your calendar out, this month we’re bringing you new guides for upcoming holidays in Georgetown. In business news, LIV & Leaf is open in Georgetown, and Planet Fitness also has officially opened its’ doors. Plus, we’ve learned that Boot Barn will be coming to Wolf Ranch Town Center, and Novak Brothers has announced a new luxury apartment project called Rise 120 in Southeast Georgetown.

⭐East View High School to Perform “The Grand Illusion Show” March 4
The show will be performed at 6 PM, 7 PM and 8 PM at the East View Theatre at 4490 East University Avenue in Georgetown, Texas.

Owned and operated by Amy Doucet and Heather Hilgers, the business specializes in connecting people with the perfect houseplant.
Planet Fitness Open in Georgetown!

Boot Barn Western and Work Wear Coming to Georgetown!
The new location will be in Wolf Ranch Town Center at 1015 W University Ave in Georgetown, where Designer Shoe Warehouse was formerly located.
Rise120 Coming to Georgetown!
“Rise120 is a Novak Brothers mixed use luxury apartment project in Southeast Georgetown offering three- and four-story buildings with a total of 227 one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes,” Novak told Hello Georgetown. “Rise120 will include an extensive amenity center and outdoor pool area, as well as 16,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Parking consists of convenient tuck-under garages and surface parking with carports. Built by Novak Commercial Construction, completion is estimated for July 2023.”
Sun City Cast to Perform Broadway Musical "Guys and Dolls"
The production has been a long time coming, Director Jan Noyes said, and is the first large scale Broadway musical Sun City has ever done. Originally scheduled for May 2020, the show was postponed when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States. Now, almost two years later, the show is back on track.
Primary Election Night – March 1, 2022
Williamson County and Georgetown Break Ground on Westinghouse Road Project
This project is part of an ultimate six-lane divided urban roadway for the east-west transportation corridor of Westinghouse Road, CR 111, CR 110 and CR 105 (collectively referred to as CR 111). The project is located in both Williamson County Precincts 3 and 4.
