There is no charge to visit the Field of Honor® at San Gabriel Park in Georgetown, TX (behind the Recreation Center at the Activity Field on Chamber Way). It is open 24/7. The breathtaking field of 1,500 flags are lighted at night.
Sip ‘N’ Stain Building New Brick and Mortar Location in Georgetown!
The new location will feature the typical workshops and painting events customers have come to love over the years, and will also be available to rent as a venue for small events like bridal or baby showers.

Owned and operated by Margo Ollison, KMO Essentials opened on November 5, 2021. The business focuses on selling comfort medical scrubs and other supplies.

Jimmy Vega’s Smokehouse Relocating in Georgetown!
“Our new location will increase our capacity as well as being able to expand our menu with a few items like hamburgers and salads in a turn of the century home right off of downtown,” James Ramsey, owner and operator of Jimmy Vega’s Smokehouse, told Hello Georgetown. “My family has been in Georgetown since the eighties and have a special connection with the town. We are hoping to open by the end of the year but that may extend to the beginning of next year.”
City Announces Details for Lighting of the Square on Nov. 26
Celebrate the holiday season at the annual Lighting of the Square event on the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 26. The event will be held on the east steps of the historic Williamson County Courthouse, 710 S. Main St. The festivities include entertainment from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Golden Rule Wins TDA President’s Award for Best Downtown Business
According to the Texas Downtown Association, the Best Downtown Business award, “recognizes an exceptional downtown business that positively promotes the downtown or commercial district as a destination for locals and tourists alike, and actively participates in the revitalizations efforts and supports downtown promotional events.”

According to data generated by BBB Scam Tracker, Texas veterans have reported more than $407,000 lost to scams across the Lone Star state since January 2021.
