HEB is in the news headlines in our community too after they announced intentions to build a brand new store at Wolf Lake Village and relocate from their current store on University Blvd. and I-35. HEB Proposes Building New Location at Wolf Lakes Village, Replacing University Location
HEB is looking at building a new location in Georgetown, in Wolf Lakes Village, and consequently replacing a current location in the city.
Code Ninjas Coming to Georgetown!
The center is geared towards kids ages 7 to 14, and will be located at 4853 Williams Drive, Suite 103 in Georgetown.
Williamson County Offers New Ways to Vaccinate Eligible Populations
Drive-thru vaccination sites are the most efficient way to vaccinate the greatest number of people in a day; however, Williamson County and its partners also are working on reaching smaller groups that fall in the state’s priority list of Phase 1a and 1b.
Miculek Announced as Georgetown Public Library Director
Sally Miculek was selected to serve as the director of the Georgetown Public Library following the retirement of Eric Lashley in January.
Georgetown Updates COVID-19 Safety Guidelines, Reopens Most Facilities
Most City of Georgetown facilities and lobbies have reopened to the public March 10 without capacity limits, in accordance with Gov. Greg Abbott’s Executive Order (GA-34) announced March 2.
Williamson County Justice Center Adopts New Building Entry Criteria
While most buildings will not have additional requirements to enter the building, the Williamson County Justice Center, located at 405 MLK in Georgetown, will have requirements as some individuals are required to appear before a court.
Williamson County Receives Excellence in Procurement Award
The Williamson County Purchasing Department is the recipient of the 25th Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award for 2020 from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI).
